We love manga, anime, light novels and otaku culture as a whole. We'd bet you might too. And seeing the anime culture continue to grow and gain mainstream popularity has been amazing to see. Particularly in the US! But unlike our Japanese counterparts, we don't see nearly enough appreciation for manga (and light novels for that matter!). Especially, when they are the source material for nearly all our beloved animes. We may have places to buy manga here in the states, but we don't have a manga ecosystem.

Here at Honsama, we're looking to change that. But as we're an independent company, we have to start small. Starting with our Honsama Monthly Manga Box, we hope to get more manga titles out to fans that aren't just the big names everyone knows about. From there, we'll look for every avenue to broaden the reach of manga, create that ecosystem, and make it for everyone. Thanks for dropping by and hope you join us on this journey!
